Safety Policy Statement

Safety is one of our core business functions. We are committed to developing, implementing, maintaining and constantly improving strategies and processes to ensure that all our aviation activities achieve the highest level of safety performance and meet the regulatory requirements.

All levels of management including myself and all employees are responsible for the delivery of the highest level of safety performance. Mountain Helicopters Pvt. Ltd. shall maintain a safe work environment and deliver safe operations by commitment to:

  1. Ensure that safety and quality commitments are not reduced by commercial requirements.
  2. Support the Safety Management System, Company Associated Manuals and Human Factor principles by allocating necessary human and financial resources for effective implementation and continuous improvement.
  3. Establish and operate hazard identification and risk management processes, including a hazard reporting system, in order to eliminate or mitigate the safety risks associated with aircraft operations to a point that is as low as reasonably practicable/achievable.
  4. Develop positive safety culture in the organization in which there will be an atmosphere of trust and a climate where people can report and discuss their errors willingly.
  5. Give importance to feedback from the Safety Survey Form (survey questions for hazard reporting culture, for how employees feel about management, for safety culture, for safety guidance from SMS, for how employees feel about the SMS).
  6. Endorsed ‘Just Culture’ in which management will not initiate disciplinary action against any personnel who, in good faith, discloses a hazard or safety occurrence resulting from unintentional conduct. However, disciplinary punitive action would be taken for unacceptable behavior (illegal activity, negligence or willful misconduct).
  7. Ensure that all staff complies with approved procedures, safety / quality standards, and regulations and all staff are provided with adequate and applicable trainings and are only allocated tasks commensurate with their skill.
  8. Establishment of proactive hazard / occurrence safety reporting system. For this purpose easy voluntary and mandatory safety reporting system has developed.
  9. Collaborating and consulting with relevant aviation stakeholders to address safety and regulatory matters to enhance safety.
  10. Annually reviewing and continually improving our safety policy, performance through safety and quality audits and ensuring independence of the audits and co-operation with safety and quality auditors in the processes by all personnel.
  11. Clearly defining for all staff, managers and employees alike, their accountabilities and responsibilities for the delivery of the organization’s safety performance and the performance of our safety management system.
  12. Set and assess our safety performance based on achievable goals and targets, while consistently enhancing safety performance.

For Your Safety:-
1. Keep seat belts fastened while in the aircraft
2. Do not throw any objects from the aircraft.
3. Do not smoke without the pilot’s aproval.
4. Do not move from the allocated seat.
5. After landing, do not leave your seat until the pilot indicates that it is safe. Often, it is required to re-position the aircraft after initial touch down.

REPORTING INFORMATION

Anyone noticing any hazard or observing any activity or procedure that may affect the safety of the people, aircraft, vehicles or equipments shall fill this form and send it to the Safety of the company or to the head of the respective department or drop in the ‘Report Collecting Boxes’ placed at different working places of the company.

The company shall use the information contained in the report to insure safety and to improve safety standard of the company. Confidentiality of the information and identity of the reporter shall be maintained, also, it is optional for the reporting person to fill the personnel information.

जो कोहीले व्यक्ति, विमान, वाहन वा उपकरणको सुरक्षाप्रति कुल असर गर्न सक्ने कुनै खतरा, कुनै गतिविधि वा प्रक्रिया अवलोकन वा पहिचान गरेमा यो फारम भरेर कम्पनिको सुरक्षा विभागमा, सम्बन्धित विभाग प्रमुख वा कम्पनिको विभिन्न ठाऊँहरुमा राखिएका सूचना सङ्कलन पेटिमा पठाउनु होला ।

सो फारममा रहेको जानकारीहरु कम्पनिले सुरक्षा सुनिश्ति गर्न र कम्पनिको सुरक्षा स्तर सुधार गर्न उपयोग गर्नु पर्नेछ । रिर्पोटको जानकारी र पहिचानको गोपनियता कायम गरिनेछ, साथै रिपोर्ट गर्ने व्यक्तिको व्यक्तिगत जानकारी भर्न वैकल्पिक छ ।
